Our Mission
Connection. Hope. Recovery.
208 Recovery is a nonprofit peer recovery community organization serving North Idaho. We provide free, peer-led recovery support services to individuals and families affected by substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health challenges, and related life struggles.
Our certified Idaho Recovery Specialists walk alongside community members - not as clinicians, but as people who understand the journey firsthand. We believe recovery is possible for everyone, and that connection is the foundation of lasting change.

Our Story
Born from this Community, Built for this Community
208 Recovery North was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that people in recovery deserve a safe, welcoming place to connect, heal, and grow - right here in North Idaho. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a vital community hub in Coeur d'Alene, serving hundreds of individuals and families each year.
Our center at 1121 E. Mullan Ave. is more than an recovery community center - it's a living room for recovery. People come to find support groups, access community resources, connect with certified recovery specialists, and simply be around others who understand. We serve veterans, youth, families, and anyone navigating the challenges of substance use or co-occurring mental health.
We are proud to partner with Innovia Foundation, the Idaho Office of Drug Policy, the Idaho Community Foundation, the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, Northern Lakes Fire, Heritage Health, Kaniksu Community Health, our transitional housing community, and many Substance Use Disorder providers - because recovery takes a whole community.
