208 Recovery Expands Peer-Led Recovery Services Across Rural North Idaho

208 Recovery is expanding its reach across North Idaho, bringing peer-led recovery support and community-based services into Shoshone County and Bonner County. The expansion reflects a simple but important belief: people should not have to travel long distances or leave their communities to find meaningful recovery support. For individuals and families living in rural areas, accessing substance use recovery services can be difficult. Transportation barriers, limited local resources, workforce shortages, stigma, and long distances between providers can all make it harder for someone to get help when they are ready for it. 208 Recovery is working to change that.
